well about the Andy G Progression Sessions its kinda like above and beyond mixes...it needs some progressive trance over it to raise into higher level of dance clubbing music...right?

hey there MX
you're absolutely right with fact that my sets would need a trance boost to get them to sound like clubbing music. But I don't mix clubbing music, my preferred genre is Progressive, and as such is only really adequate for early evening sets, warmup sets, and maybe early morning sets before a chillout set kicks in.
I'm not a peak time trance DJ and don't profess to be. I leave that to the pros on here and those out there making people dance till they drop hehe

Hey there guys :) Iqy is back after a two week hiatus of travelling and home repair :P I've read the stuff above and it looks like our friend MX-RoaD might not be aware of the BPM associated with each genre. :) But generally this is how things are broken up my friend...
125 - 134 BPM is considered Progressive Trance
135 - 140 BPM is Trance (the peak time clubbing music Andy is referring to)
140 and above is Hard Trance ..... the crazy fast beats dancy stuff.
and that's all there is to lad. This is how the various different genres are divided. Hope this little tidbit helped ya out my friend.
And to the rest of you guys who've played over the past two weeks. I've downloaded yours sets and I was like You guys are bloody awesome!
