Hey guys, just wanted to say hope you enjoyed the 2 part set. Wanted to have something in them for everyone to kick off the residency program here at URTZ!
If you haven't yet...hit me up on MySpace--a lot of awesome people on there and a great way to network (although it took me a couple years to start).
I'm going to actually send the first set to Nadia Ali and Blue Room Project (Jeff Belfi) is in the process of listening to it right now (gave him props for his tune I used).

I'm glad you enjoyed the mix...again, wanted to make something special to give something back to this awesome site and the active members.
Looking forward to the other residents holding the bar up, and like Electrophile said...just having fun with it.

hey, THANK YOU for giving me the opportunity to share my mixes with everyone.
i originally started dj'ing because i was tired of listening to mixes with tracks that didn't appeal to me. dj'ing gave me the opportunity to play tracks that appeal to me and in a way that best expresses myself.

thanks for the kind words guys...always brings a smile to my face when people post such nice things.
if there are any bad things/negative comments about my set(s), i'd love to hear the feedback so i can improve for my next offering! i just really tried to stay a little more mainstream so that there was something in it for everyone (as i stress again).
i know a lot of people enjoyed my high energy set with GGS 004...i sort of wanted to end with that energy level towards the end in order to make make it a more natural progression.

MAN!!! I loved it, track selection, transitions ...everything!!
but the problem lies in burning it on a cd...each set exceeds 80 mins...
no worries, that can be fixed! Thx John for an amazing set

yeah, i noticed i would be going over the 80 minute mark with the first set but didn't want to cut out the last tune.
with the 2nd one, i was using 81:30 cut off because that is the maximum capacity of a cd-r if you overwrite it. many people use roxio, etc... so i was actually able to burn the whole set on a cd.
i assume that most people will primarily be listening to the sets either on their computers or on an iPod or some other mp3 player.
anyhow, i'm glad you liked the set.

Fantastic set JDF uplifting and energetic.
As for writing the mixes to cd, personally I think it would be better if they were all over 80 mins to limit folk from doing that at all.
