I've always loved electronic music but I've only been spinning for about 6
months (which makes me a baby compaired to most!) I love writing and drawing
as well as music, but I just see Dj'ing as another way to express myself.
Sending my thoughts and emotions through levels and styles of music. I just
love giving whoever is listening a feeling of excitment, freedom, and
anticipation. I love to make people dance. But there is a lot more to it
than just dancing. It's an art.... turning something old, into something
completly new - being totally unique, and speaking with a needle.

Oh wow I must first say pre review ... Such Energy in one mix. This is amazing. This has more energy than an ounce of speed wooohoooo

1. Paul Glazbey & Abandon - Tortured --- trans to ---- 2. (7.30) RR Fierce & The Captain - Street tab (OD404 remix)--- was nicely done!! I liked the continuity privided by that quirky sound and the beat worked ok.

Moving into this tune was done in a similar fashion and to good standard too. awesome 3. (11.57) Ali Wilson & Matt Smallwood - Devistation (J Lawson remix)

The trans into this was a little more obvious but ok none the less 4. (17.25) Steve Blake - Expression (tidyR7)

Beat wasn't perfect but i like the way it came together since we hear "20,000 hardcore members" and the fast drum and expect the next tune so it works 5. (23.36) Ed Real & the Coalition - 20,000 Hardcore members


OMG wow 6. (29.30) James Jaye - Real High (Steve Blake remix)

Good flow into this tune and carry through again 7. (35.49) Lox & Dark by Design - Strapped in

Nice intro to this song with the beats 8. (43.23) Dj Kim - Jetlag (Alphazone remix)

Again nice intro smooth 9. (50.20) Sol Ray vs. Ben Eye & Log One - Revolution for your mind PROMO

I thought this transition was a little cluttered with the change in beat type i could hear it coming in for awhile especially at (56.44) this was a hard one to bring in though i think but i'm not convinced of its place at the end of this mix 10. (57.14) Lab 4 - Groove Overdrive

The journey on this mix is exactly as promised... hard dance... the progression through the mix is a smooth buildup the whole way. I loved the line up just a slight reservation over the last track. One thing i loved by accident was the way this mix finishes cues straight into its start lol as my winamp is on repeat play.

What i heard that i Really Really liked was the use of parts of the "melody" or sound from each tune to tie the individual tunes together over a longer transition hence making one related mix. Thats exactly what it should be! So when the beats were switched the melody or sound provided a lot of continuity to the transition.

This mix was very very well done much akin to what i would expect from a pro on the circuit.

And that last track - well... I just dig it too much, and it was one of the first records that I ever bought. So it needed a good home :)

And Street Tab - well, I just love Tibrib. Thats my excuse!

My next plan is something a little more proggy/stompy/fun fun. But more trancy next time around.

I still need to practice - I am a wee baby ya know ;)

I love the energy in this mix.. from beginning to end is juts pure hard banging beats!

Since the first day I heard this, I was very impress.
