I have to agree with chu, it looks like a bomb has fallen on the board.
The old board was much better for the eyes. This is way too much info to process.
I do like the new features and the way topics are organized, but there has to come a new skin that cleans and tidies everything up. Too much stuff moving and glowing up when you move your mouse over it.
I would love to see how the old skin works with the new code.

Kris, I appreciate your feedback! However nothing againts Chu's comments but all we really said in his post, is that he did not like the new set up and probably would not be back. A good thing to note here is that this "chu" user registered back in 2008 and only has 11 post, one of them being the one to complain about the new board.
Also I guess I can come clean and admit that on the old board if you posted "2" post you received complete access to the downloads. It's obvious that this "chu" user came to the site, tried to download and got the "Access" denied.
I have asked that user to come back and give feedback as to why he did not like the new set up. I can guarantee that the reason is because he can't download no more..
Anyway, I will work on adding a new skin, however as I stated previously it will be much easier for me to add more features if I keep the standard skin.. but I guess I can add another skin which won't have the same features..
I'd start with removing features instead of adding them. making the forum area bars smaller by removing those rss, site map, sub fora (especially those!) etc. Those options can all be in the profile or don't really add anything and just make the forum messy.
With the new layout signatures should be turned off (or text only) to keep it more readable. Since there aren't clear borders anymore between posts.
Here's a forum i'm also on (dutch) but the layout is the same as here
Ok, it's new .......yes ! I looked around a bit and must say, there is a lot to discover This works a lot better wow Awesome job. You have the radio shows and the live sets split It dont take muth time to find all the good stuff.
But what are these red dots under my writhing ???? Dus that mean that my writhing sucks
Seriusly i like the new layout !!

thx for making assumptions about how I use the board (even if its faulty), but I will only post when there are topics that I can add to. I have tons of post counts on other forums because I felt that I can contribute pertaining to those convo's but not here. The general trance topics and off topics here rarely have anything new or exciting that I feel that I can add to, so whats the point in postwhoring???
Don't get me wrong, like many others I did come here in search of certain mixes. I like that some of your members have make rips of shows that isn't in other forums as fast as yours, but to me this place isn't worth straining my eyes for joc dance sessions sets. I can easily find those sets on other sites (that I won't mention here since it may violate a policy about other trance sites and what not -did not read ua), I just chose your since it is/was easier to find. kthx
chu, I am sorry but those are my feelings, I understand that people just want to download and not be bother about all the hard work that the admins of some of these sites do. I mean in my case, I pay for my own DI.FM premium account, I record, I upload and then post for members to be able to download. That does not include the $$ it cost to pay for bandwidth and server space.
All that I ask for, is for members to participate, give back to the site.. I mean there are hundredths of sites out there that offer the same old public server links (rapidshare, megaupload). Here on my site I pride myself to be able to host close to 3000K Mixes, all on reliable and fast hosting. This is what sets my site aside from any other. However it's obvious that the leeches will remain leeches and move on to other sites.
In general to these users, it does not matter what forum upgrade I use. If they had access to download and now it's gone, they will go move on.. that just the way things go.
In the end I have nothing to gain by offering these mixes or new software to people to be able to communicate with each other. The reason I started the site was to be able to share the LIVE sets, with out the hassle of internet virus, popups, or torrents.
