Yes... I do it quite often... My last batch was a wheat beer!!! It came out perfectly! I am about to make a Lager. I'll make a couple of batches of Lager to drink next sumer (It tastes better the longer you leave it in the bottle)

The secret is... You brew pale ales in winter and lagers in summer. Why? Pale ales have a cooler fermentation temperature, and lagers have a warmer fermentation temp...
