I'm going to say based off of live dj sets

Well, I thought Armin and Tiesto were going to be terrible after hearing their recent radio shows, however when I did see them, the live sets were several orders of magnitude better than the radio shows, especially Tiesto it was an amazing night.

As far as live, I havent been to a rave in a couple years (3 to be exact), so I cant say who is overrated live. What I can say though is this dub step music is a fad that needs to move on already.

If we are talking about radio shows, they all pretty much suck. ASOT has not been worth listening to since about ASOT 250 imo. Club Nouveau (Club Life), Corstens, are ok the only 2 I like right now is TATW and the best show around is Global Trance Grooves. There is an abundance of this "Pop Trance" and I dont like it.

The last time I saw Tiesto live was about 4 years ago and it was one the best sets I have ever heard live. He played nice Progressive Trance. I loved it!

You pretty much nailed it on the ASOT episodes. I haven't even really been caring too much for GDJB sadly enough. It's been ok.

Dubstep step is so popular because it's bringing in a new crowd. All the young kids that like hard rock and metal are into it. I've been saying that for a couple of years now. I dig a little dubstep breakdown thrown into a prog house or prog trance track every now and then. It does sound nice when done right. Dubstep has an interesting sound but I can't listen to too much of it because it just gets boring and overbearing. I like just a splash to change things up.

You have a point there, I have heard some decent banging tracks from that genre, I guess I shouldnt be a universal hater.

GDJB and Mr. Shultz/shulz in my opinion has never produced a track, set or radioshow I would ever grace in my car audio system. That is just me, I know he has (or had) a lot of support in this forum.

Seems to have died down alot in the past few years, like EDM in general.

What don't you like about him? And better yet, drop me a couple a favorite tracks of yours so I know what you're into.
