It would be nice to have section for seasoned djs to help out aspiring djs. i personally am having the worst time trying to beat match in traktor. i want to get a cdj setup but am worried about spending nearly a grand if it turns out i dont have the ear or talent for it.
Men i'm having ur same dilemma... Been trying out with Traktor... I'm a complete noob in dj stuff btu still wanna give it a shot... Would be great to have somewhere to receive some help....
So i'm behind ur idea 100%....

Traktor can be hard but I been messing around with lately and just noticed that there is hot-keys so it makes it a little easier to work with and but still beat matching is never easy and takes practice but you'll get the hang of it. I don't own any dj equipment as of yet planning of getting some as soon as I have enough money not even close right now but just keep practicing you'll get it eventually don't give up

I agree with the difficulty in using Traktor at first, but as you get used to it the keys start becoming second nature and you find yourself using both hands as you would with normal equipment.
I'm going to be forced to use Traktor now because my wife's making me sell my mixer and decks. Just had a baby last year and had to renovate my studio to make room for all of her stuff. So until I move to a bigger place, it's going to be Traktor from here on out and probably Ableton when I'm able to afford the full version.

do you guys still think we need the DJ section?
i think a dj section would be pretty sweet.
I'm pretty new to dj'ing so i'm definatly looking for more helpful info etc, and having it in one place would be great.

after having used traktor 3 for a a little over half a year now. ill admit it is difficult to get used to using the program and takes a lot of practice and effort to master. but my suggestion is to go into traktor with no tutorial or help and simply explore the product yourself and play around with it and learn its features and all. this way ull create your own method and style using the program which will give u a unique dj style with the effects and various mixing tools

hey electric. it's funny you say that because my brother told me to do the same thing. just jump in and figure out as you go. buy it's easier for him because he has a much faster learning curb than me. i guess it's time to jump into the pool:)
